Terry has been a presenter at national conferences and universities for many years, bringing her infectious enthusiasm, responsiveness, and a delightful combination of compassion and rigor to her multi-faceted sessions in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Arts Integration and Sacred Dance. She has taught and created events in conjunction with organizations such as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Rowe Conference Center, Cleveland Institute of Music, the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, the Dalcroze Society, Society for Ethnomusicology, Los Hippocampitos School in Caracas, Venezuela, Kasetsat University in Bangkok, Thailand, University of Hawaii, and Bard College Conservatory of Music.
Terry was one of sixteen Ohio artists selected to participate in the Kennedy Center for the Arts Seminars “Artists as Educators” from 2004 – 2007. For almost 2 decades she was a Teaching Artist for the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning. Terry was in the first group of artists for the Kennedy Center’s Ohio State-Based Collaborative Initiative, and is on the Ohio Arts Council Arts Learning roster. She has taught children, disadvantaged youth, amateur adults, the learning disabled, senior citizens, educators, actors, professional musicians and conservatory students around the world. She sang with the Cleveland Orchestra Blossom Festival Chorus for 20 years, and currently sings with Choral Arts Cleveland.
